Quick Overview

The supertube has the same construction and advantages as the standard tube but is 58mm in diameter and is 1800 mm long.

This gives it a collector area of 50% more than the standard tube, and therefore an increase of 50% in output.

Tube collectors enable you to harness the power of the sun, to generate heat. This highly efficient method using tube and supertube systems don't use water as the heat conductor.

All of the tube supplied by Solar Supplies come fully assembled.

They have all been assembled in the factory and tested before dispatch.

Picture shown is one of a large scale, showing that we not only supply to household users but to hotels, warehouses, and factories of all scales.

The standard tube works on a heat pipe conduction, there is no water inside thus it successfully prevents the defects of tube block and low power output caused by water fouling and deposits of dust and sand.

-It prevents the tube from being easily broken by volume expansion when the water in the tube freezes in freezing conditions.
-Low thermal capacity makes the tube start up quickly. Energy inside the tube can be taken out within only 2 minutes under sunshine.
-The insulation temperature of the heat pipe can reach 256c. The average heat efficiency can still be more than 50% even at temperatures as low as (-40).
-High efficient selective absorptive coatings and vacuum heat insulation technology ensure the tube gets a higher heat output in cloudy weather and in damp conditions, especially in winter.
-It perfectly solves the fatal defect of the common all glass vacuum tube solar water heater, which will not run if one of the tubes is out of work.
