A step down in size from Canon's Powershot series, the IXUS series offers smaller form factors but retains great image quality and a wide range of features. These are the compact cameras of the compact world. This entry-level IXUS camera has a slightly retro square design and a range of fun colours, this one sporting a standard silver colour.

This camera has a range of great technology, from its high resolution 10 megapixel sensor, a 3x zoom (35mm to 105mm equivalent) and its image stabilising technology that keep things from getting blurry.

As is the case with many compact cameras, this has a range of automatic functions to take the hassle out of taking photos, letting you focus on the more important things. Also shoots video in standard VGA if you need it.
